Currently, he is the Vice President of Shenzhen Second People's Hospital (First Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University), Head of the Department of Neurology, Deputy Director of the Brain Center, Director of the Stroke Office, and Director of the Shenzhen Stroke Quality Control Center. He serves as the Deputy Director of the Young and Middle-aged Expert Committee of the National Health Commission's Stroke Prevention Project, Head of the Stroke Emergency Group of the Cerebrovascular Disease Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, Executive Director of the Guangdong Neurological Association, President of the Shenzhen Stroke Association, Deputy Chairman of the Shenzhen Medical Association Neurology Branch, and Director of the Shenzhen Stroke Training Center. He is also an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science, Chinese Journal of Stroke, International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases, and a reviewer for journals such as the International Journal of Hypertension and Stroke and Vascular Neurology.
In recent years, he has made significant contributions to stroke screening, stroke treatment, stroke center construction, clinical stroke research, and medical quality control and improvement in Shenzhen. He has led over 20 projects, published more than 40 professional papers, and holds 2 patents. He has also participated in the compilation of 3 monographs. In 2016, he proposed and created China's first emergency stroke map, the "Shenzhen Thrombolysis Map," which increased the thrombolysis rate for ischemic stroke in Shenzhen from less than 1% to 9.7%. He has received numerous accolades, including the "Top Ten Innovative Youth of Shenzhen" by the Shenzhen Municipal Committee in 2017, the "Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert of the Stroke Prevention Project Committee of the National Health and Family Planning Commission" in 2018, the "Top Ten Good Doctors" by the Shenzhen Health Commission, and the Guangdong May Day Labor Medal in 2019. In 2020, as the second principal investigator, he received the "Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Second Prize" for the project "Key Technologies for Efficient Stroke Prevention and Control and the Construction and Application of a Multidimensional Full-process System."
